Baegum is a project that is about exploring the identity of British South Asian women through fashion and beauty. South Asian representation in beauty and fashion is often limited to a fairer complexion and a euro-centric idea of what is beautiful. Baegum sets about reclaiming narratives and telling a story through visual media and copy. This project included a combination of graphics, illustration, animation, website design, copywriting, social media management, and marketing. Below are some of the graphics created.Baegum - the zine is a collaboration with artists, entrepreneurs, activists, and students to explore fashion, beauty, and identity among the British South Asian diaspora. There are four features, starting with jewelry, a commissioned art section, interviews, and a spotlight on South Asian entrepreneurs in London.

We must not, therefore, wonder whether we really perceive a world, we must instead say: the world is what we perceive.
